Just a few shots I took today, too nice a day to stay in

 

Looks as if you had a good stroll out today Zigs. I just love narrow boats and houseboats, brings back some happy memories - I have a friend who lives on one in Haarlem.

 

It was lovely, is that Haarlem in Holland?

Thought that would raise some curiousity Trunky, its meant to be the Sun, they've put markers along the tow path representing the scale distance to the inner planets

I hate art projects sometimes.

 

Ah yes, art......of course.
So why only the inner planets? What about the outer planets then?
Probably too far to walk.

 

I thought that too. Walked 2 miles, all they had was Mercury, Venus, Terra & Mars

 

You should have kept going Zigs.
After Mars, there's probably a huge pile of rubble meant to represent the asteroids.

Great pics Zigs. I find locks fascinating and could watch boats going through them for ages. I'm easily pleased.

 

Haven't walked along the canal for a while, when we do it's usually around North Newton.
