What's wrong with it??? , Ziggy and I were wearing it at the Open Day!!

 

Excuse me, you did describe me after several glasses of wine as a Gentleman!

 

In Sainsbury's tonight, and they were selling off a lot of their garden stuff half price, and in particular they had Strata 35cm pots on half price at £1.25 each.

Given that I was heading to Wickes tomorrow to buy buckets, and these have virtually the same capacity for 14p less, I thought it was a good deal. Just as well, as 17 of them jumped into my trolley........... (well, it would have been rude to leave them languishing there on the bottom shelf)

 

Nearly forgot - a Hydrangea Macrophylla Red Baron and a Delphinium 'Sir Galahad' snuck into the pile of pots at some point - I only found them when I got to the tills...... honest.

 

Now, now, that just will not do on a Friday evening. I prescribe a nice chilled Zinfandel to be taken as required throughout the remainder of the evening.

 

I recently bought both the spade and the fork, and am delighted with them. The spade cuts through the soil far easier than my old one did (presumably due to the shiny stainless finish) and the fork has survived breaking my thick heavy soil up. The angle of both the handle and the heads seem to also make an incredible difference when it comes to the really tough stuff.

Great tools for the money, and definitely show that there is no point in buying cheaper ones.
