Best evergreen plant for fencing

Hi,

My first post in this forum.

I have pretty small garden with aluminium fence. Very similar to below one:

Any recommended plant for this type of fence which should be evergreen and grow up quickly.

As my garden is quite small I would prefer fence plant which should take less space (less width) and grow in upward direction.

Hello and welcome. I'm masking out the 8ft jail fence that the church next door erected by growing elderberry trees along side it. They're not evergreen, but they green up nice and early and keep their leaves late, and grow very fast.

I was not sure how to put picture of my fence so searched on the internet and found ebay link.

 

In that case. You could try Trachelospermum ( Star Jasmine ) or Clematis Armandii.

 

I will check if the are available in local B&Q.

If you know any recommended place to buy that will be helpful.

I purchased a clematis Armandii from B&Q for £17 about 2week ago

 

How many do I need for 40 feet fence?

 

I'd put Trachelospermum on that fence, Clematis armandii will be trying to grow higher and get unruly along the top I reckon.
