    Hello everyone,:)
I'm David. Just starting to take a proper interest in my garden after my youngest daughter got married and left home, now I have a little time to pursue a hobby! My father is, and my grandfather was a keen gardener. However while I have an interest, I have a lot to learn, so no doubt I'll be picking your collective brains extensively over the coming months and years. looking forward to the fruitage of my labours. You'll be hearing from me soon!

Welcome to GC David :sign0016: - I'm pretty much a beginner like you, so don't have much in the way of brains for you to pick, sorry; you'll like it here though, as its without doubt the friendliest, most helpful forum on the net. :)

My favourite part of the country! My cousin used to own one of the static caravans in the campsite just outside Inveraray - I loved spending time there, and mooching around the area.

I was born and bred a bit further south than you, in Dumfries and Galloway - nice area, but not as nice as Argyll & Bute in my opinion :)

Ah, further toward Campbelltown - I would dearly love to be living anywhere around your way. And yes, the natives are very friendly too. :)
