Seems like they are all pulling out due to injuries.

Think this could well be Murray's year. The draw has opened up nicely for him and the win at The Olympics has given him the confidence to be much more aggressive which is vital on grass. I played at Wimbledon many many moons ago (very badly!) but at least I can say I played there. Was interested to see that the serve volley game used by both Brown and Stakhovsky was pivotal in their wins, maybe we will see it's return I certainly hope so as there are only so many 30 shot rallies which are that interesting!

Maybe if the rest just roll over, Murry can win it by being the last man standing.
Not a good way to win.

Bit unfair Pete, Murray is a very good player. Good luck to him

I agree. He's coming into his own now, Lendl has been a great influence on him since he started coaching him. I wish him all the best! (From someone who's part-Scot ;) )

Sometimes that's how champions are made. I remember when Damon Hill won the Formula One championship I personally felt that he would not have won except Schumacher was out of the race!!!

It`s a knockout tournament, ergo you can get knocked out by a player deemed to be of less ability, but who played better on the day.

Looking at some of the slips & slides on sky news just now, there doesn't appear to be much grip on a lot of the tennis shoes... Maybe more tread should be the way to go, like for other grass sports?

I'm only reflecting what you all appear to be saying.:dunno:
Murray stands a better chance of winning with Federa and Nadal out of the way. :)

Okay lets put this to bed, Yes Murray stands a better chance of winning the further he progresses in the competition,
Yes he also stands a better chance the more of the higher ranked players get knocked out,
Yes IF Nadal and Federa were still in it with Murray and Djokovic , there could still only be one of them Wimbledon Champion at the end of finals day.
