            A local guy is making concrete garden ornaments etc at very reasonable prices and we couldn't resist these, a large and heavy toadstool with a face :biggrin: Plants 172.jpg

            And a new bird bath

            Just need to soak them and get some yogurt and moss spores and smear it all over them to start the aging process as they look a bit in your face :)

              I bought an un-named Haworthia in Lidl reduced to £1.49. Split it up and now have three good sized pots of them....................

                    Seriously though, I'm going to treat it just the same as my Echeveria glauca (a close relative) - dry in the cold g/house for the winter. The Echeveria seems happy enough at the moment..............

                        I may indeed return one FC. The other one was a Spear & Jackson Elements digging spade. I may just keep both of them so I can have a spare. Can't believe I've been so dozy :dunno: Well actually I can! :snork:

                            Got a great bargain at B & Q last week. Found two poppies, which were looking pretty ragged and tatty, priced at £2.98 each. My philosophy is "if you don't ask you don't get" and took them over to one of the garden centre staff who took a look at the sorry specimens and promptly reduced them to £1 each. They are now in my garden receiving some nice TLC and a nice feed.
