I wasn't able to source any Comfrey, so I'll go for Nettles. I'm just trying to work out how much I might need. Any ideas as to the rate of dilution?

I half filled a dustbin with Comfrey then added water to half way point. After it's brewed I intend to add a cupful to each watering can.

Thanks for the info John:) Gonna get some stingers when we take the dogs out for a walk, tomorrow. I'll brew mine in an unused dustbin. Do you think there's any reason why I couldn't just leave it in the bin once it's brewed?

Mine is left in the bin Freddy, I just take a jug full as required....... It might be worth covering it though, should we get a half decent downpour it will dilute it.

            Hello chums:)

I got my Nettles on the brew today:blue thumb:

            Hello John.

What's the thinking behind using CMP's? As I understand it, CMP's are good for Nitrogen. Do you think that the Onions will still have a need for it?

Not much thinking behind it Freddy, I just happened to have some left over and lobbed them into the mix, plus a few nettles. I had a peep in the dustbin and it's starting to ferment already :)

                      Hello chums:)

One thing occurred to me regarding these nettles. They were full of seed and I'm wondering if I'll end up spreading the seed all over the place once added to the plot?
