Jane, your Globosa is looking really good :blue thumb:. They tend to be earlier than Davidii and those are later than usual, anyway.

Ours are growing very well and are lush with leaves but not a hint of a flower bud yet. Even in good years they don't flower here until mid July.

I'm thinking of printing this up and pinning it to the plant in order to show it what it should be doing. This was taken July 31st. :) You can see that the flowers were still opening.

I'm starting to get some buds on my Buddleia! So it is just a little behind :) Can't wait for the flowers to be out as there are already a fair few bees around and this will only make them happier :)

I can just see buds starting to form in the middle of the leaves. I was beginning to worry that all I'd get were leaves this year! Which for my first year of looking after it, wasn't a positive for me ;)

I bought two which were small bare root plants and they are about 1 foot tall now, will they flower this year?

Some things in gardening are instant in giving you a sense of satisfaction and other things might take longer.........I think the things that take longer, more patience and thought have the edge!!!:heehee:
