      I've always found them one of the most helpful, efficient and friendly organisations around. That's dealing with issues for others, not myself because I'm not that old yet! (although I was once involved with construction of new offices for them and they were a great bunch of people to deal with).

      Getting back to 'Expats' having allowances abolished, are non-UK nationals entitled to UK pensions if they work and pay NI contributions in the UK for the requisite number of years? (as they surely can't be classed as 'Expats' if they return to their 'home country' following retirement?).
