    Hi everyone

I'm new to the forum and pretty new to gardening too! I have a huge garden that's currently about 90% lawn.

I'm looking forward to transforming my garden into something I can be proud of. Hopefully you'll all be able to teach me lots and in return I'll post lots of photos of my garden to show you how it's coming along!

Ok, since posting my first thread I've had a look at photos posted by other members...When I said "I have a huge garden" I didn't realise that some of you have large amounts of land and stately homes! To be more precise, I have a very large garden for a 23 year old with no gardening experience! :)

          Here are some pics:

I remember when we moved from a terraced house with a backyard to a house with a garden. I was a teenager then. The garden seemed enormous compared to what we were used to. My parents got stuck in and turned it into a lovely place to enjoy. :)

Not sure what that weed is but someone will be along with more experience than me to help you out. :blue thumb:

A garden is a garden. We used to have a member on here years ago who had just a small balcony on a flat. She'd turned it into something amazing. At the other end of the scale, some people here seem to own half of Britain (ok, I exaggerate, a bit:) ), and then there's everything in between. Doesn't matter how much land you have. We're all equals here.

Here's the rockery and frog pond I made. It's not great, but it's a start!

Thanks Fern4, hopefully someone can give me some advice on how to get rid of those weeds for good. The grow so fast and they're a nightmare to get rid of!

Thank you Clueless1. Some people on here have truly amazing gardens! They look better that some of the gardens at stately homes I've visited! My garden is more that big enough for me!
