ID Please

Hi all these are found in various spots in the back garden and next to the house.
Are they friend or foe

 

First is one of the many Euphorbias and the second is a Poppy, possibly Icelandic. I feel that I should know what the others are, I've seen them around the area but I'm drawing a blank, sorry.

 

The one in the right hand side of the picture is, for sure I'm thinking that the left hand plant may be a Mexican Orange Blossom? Choisya?

 

Been told the third picture is Jupiters Beard ?

 

I think you will find the poppy in the second picture is an opium poppy.

 

Third and fourth pictures are both Valerian as Marley Farley said and grows all over this island I live on like a weed. It self seeds everywhere.

Hi all wanted to know if it is ok to have opium poppies growing wild in the garden or anywere else. Some people say its not the done thing due to situations with the police I havent a clue thought I's better ask as one has just flowered have 7 of them scattered in and around the spud patch. Its beautiful to look at but will it cause a problem. Poss stuiped question to ask I thought nothing of it till it was pointed out ?

 

I've never heard of anyone getting raided for growing them, had them in the garden for years.
