    Yeah, I had thoughts along those lines. I had thought that maybe, the seed would just rot off, in time?:dunno:

    I think nettle seed will drown and rot away in the brew.

        I know Freddy, photo's taken, just got to edit them (not enhance). Given that I've had to totally re-plant once this year and half re-plant subsequently.......... cats, foxes and now bloomin squirrels, my onions are in a sorry state but I'll post a pic or two for you all to laugh at!

          Camera's broken. Not much to photograph anyway, picture a White Lisbon spring onion, that's what my biggest one looks like :doh:

              Just been out there to give my 'brew' a stir. It seems to have acquired the smell of Roses, is that right? :heehee:

                      Thanks John. At this stage, I'm quite hopeful that I'll get a few good ones. They will certainly be the biggest I've ever grown, provided there are no disasters round the corner:)
