Everytime I look at your photos brings back memories of going to see my aunt who lived in Meols and then she moved to Hoylake.

May I just ask though: is that a real dog, or, is that a sculpture from Freddy's link? (doesn't *appear* to have moved twix pic 1 and pic 2)

 

It is a real one "M" a cocker spaniel called floyd

 

al At last I have found a comparison between your garden and mine......................they both have a roan cocker spaniel in them!!!
