    They are planted now kristen:biggrin: some cannas just went on a halt :dunno: and something is seriously munching on nearly all ive planted out:gaah:
    I cant see no caterpillars,ive removed slugs i find from the areas,sprayed with garlic,neem oil & used bug spray this evening cos im desperate :redface:

    Picked up a Canna australia off a regular market stall I use (and trust), he's started selling some of his stock off today to make room for new stuff, it cost me 50p :hate-shocked::dancy:

      Mine are all on the patio in pots of varying sizes, I have a couple with small holes in but otherwise they are untouched in that respect, but I did find a couple with greenfly on the underside of the leaves, they've been, shall we say, dealt with :eeew::heehee: before they potentially transfer the dreaded Canna virus to my plants :nonofinger:

        I notice that one of mine has a flower head, and is showing a bit of colour:dancy:

          Here's my first Canna flower of 2013, supposed to be Canna Limbata but the flower looks a bit different to what I thought it would but its still a lovely delicate flower :)

              The flowers are quite small, around 1.5" across, but should look good in clusters:)

                I use Tomato feed - i.e. high Potash.

                    :dbgrtmb: Nice early flowers you two ! I use tom food from late July . I don't think I have had a flower before August - suppose flowering time depends on variety.
