Just what I ordered a nice warm July day - got home from work and spent 2 hours in the garden - mostly in the chair with a glass in my hand.

Scorchio! :) I'm sat on the patio with the bumblebees buzzing around the climbing rose and this plant (don't know what it is but it's pretty & the bees like it!! Ones modelling it in the pic ;) It's growing in the wall) and reading the old Kindle :)

Yet another dry, sunny day here. Out and about my car was reading 20C, so there'll be lot's to water this evening.

Scorchio here too. So glorious that the lad and I couldn't resist going out in the new yacht (ok, not a yacht, more like a fairly mediocre boat. Ok, no so much a boat as a £35 inflatable dinghy from Tescos).

I even did some swimming, and we saw not one but two actual real fishes swimming along the sea bed.

Sounds like you've had a great time today Clueless. :) I wouldn't swim here, I've seen what's washed up on the beaches in the winter months!

Yep, real swimming, both feet off the floor:)

It wasn't any colder than many outdoor 'heated' swimming pools I've been in, and as for what's in it, a lot of years ago it was a bit dirty but all the new environmental legislation has resulted in Redcar beach being very clean. Its a bit gross up at the gare, but you don't swim in that bit anyway. If you do, muck would be the least of your worries. A bigger concern would be the prevailing current which at that point sweeps out in a big arc and would put you in the shipping lane:sad:

Woke up this morning in the Bahamas, lovely sunny and still day with a max of about 25c. Only thing I did in the garden was laze about enjoying it all. Plenty of watering to be done later though ...

Been/still is a beautifffffffffful day. Worn out, been planting some plants under the shade of our pear tree. Watered everything- back in now to have a chicken and pea omelette, and a long, tall, chilled glass of the falling down water, oh, and apple pie and thick double cream, lush.

                              :ccheers:
