Oh, well, it was just a thought ... but you can use honey as a rooting hormone as it has anti-fungal and anti-bacterial qualities.

What beautiful photographs ... Aurea in particular would look stunning as a large wall canvas. May I copy it so I may replicate it as it is along the lines of what I was doing last?

The good Lord has seen fit to work a miracle, I do believe one of my dead brugs has produced the tiniest little shoot this week.

No problems Victoria..glad you liked it. I got lucky with that shot..just look up and thought " that's nice". No special camera, just a point a click jobbie.

Madahhlia, a shoot you say..well yu never know how long this summer might last. Enjoy, and overwinter frost free.

That is lovely Joolz and you must be chuffed ... well done you! Which one is it? My headily scented yellow one is a Charles Grimaldi.

Wayne, thank you for allowing me to copy your photo ... I am besotted with it. As soon as I finish making the baby blanket for my Portuguese friend who is due mid August, I think I shall get the canvas and paints out.

              Hi All
yes the yellow it`s a grimaldi , not from Kristen , the white one originate from kristen : )

this is my first Brugs of the year .....and that explain my obsession with the cold group .

Its a Brugmansia Sanguinea , cold group , but pretty easy to find , nothing rare .

Yes the leaves are different from the other brugmansia ....

finger cross , I`ve managed to get a cutting of the brugmansia culebra, I really hope that will manage to root .

                those are the leaves
