Flower power & QVC

Hi guys. Has anyone tried Richard Jacksons Flower power which he sells on QVC?

I would be interested to know as well, as I have always considered it to be overpriced. looked it up on line and QVC, it says extra potash, seaweed extract and wetting agent on pack, no exact ingredients.

The NPK is 12:12:36 according to the second thread.

You do of course have a thirty day guarantee but I think you'd still have to pay postage.

I'd get some tomato feed instead

 

Hmmm, just read some of the reviews and think i will steer clear. Can you really get good feeds at the pound shops?

 

I have tried flower power but didn't see any difference to using tomato food.
As far as I'm concerned it's overpriced & overhyped.

 

I think it's hard to beat phostrogen, miracle grow and tomato feed. They're cheap, readily available and soooooo easy to apply. That flower power stuff, IMO, is overpriced and I can't see it being any better than the above.

Mrs al is a fan, no, a major fan of qvc (make up and beauty stuff mainly!) and records the Richard Jackson gardening slots for me, and although they have some nice stuff on now and again, the plants, pots, flower power and slug pellets are overpriced. Nothing I've seen so far has impressed and local nurseries are far more convenient and cheaper. Plus, you get to see the quality there and then before you buy.

Not for me thanks.

 

Its Wilkos tom food and Phostrogen for me All these super fertilisers are more hype than action - although if anyone does find one that works post it on here !

 

What ratios should i look for and why are people using more than 1 type. Forgive me i am new to all this!
