    Ready for a party on Saturday ... the blue Gazebo at the back is the band stand
    Guitars, boron drums, et al and various singing sensations LOL all available. Food courtesy of the local Chinky and drinks galore. Looking very much forward :) (as my young Danish friend Lene used to say ..... IMG_1676.jpg

      Lene Jystrup was a young Danish student who came over to Northern Ireland many years ago for a couple of months as a 'time out' during her University studies, and finished up staying for 6 months with us. We must have been far too nice :) Her English became a mixture of sophisticated Danish school teaching and Northern Ireland accented words which suddenly appeared in the middle of what she was saying. Proved to be very amusing and a source of humour which still exists today. Lene is still in touch with us regularly and still laughs at the experience :)
