We have a small chance of a thunderstorm forecast for tonight :please: tell me that they get it right, doesn't look good at the moment as the sky is cloudless !!

    One word, lovely!!!
Up at 7 and a bike ride down by the river to the sea, absolutely grand with a slight fragrant breeze coming off the sea. Same plan for tomorrow morning. (Trying to get a bit fit this summer and get rid of beer gut which somehow crept up on me ;)).
After supper some very chilled white wine in the garden - happy fella.
A fair few more days like this will make the coming winter more tolerable.

We started with mist here this morning but the sun soon broke through late morning. With a gentle breeze this afternoon and a lower temperature it was comfortable. 22C

We still have 73.6f outside and 77.3f inside so we are not going to sleep much tonight.Got to the lottie by 8.30am this morning and it was hot then and gradually rose as the day went on.:phew: Forecast is for some thunderstorms tonight which we won't mind as everywhere is desperate for water and my acer is crinkling up and dropping it's leaves despite my constant watering and i will be most upset if it dies as it is over 30 years old:cry3:

25C in the sun on the NE front garden. It'll be coming around to the South about 11am. Will have the large parasol up by then to give shade whilst I catch up with the Saturday Telegraph and the few supplements that I like. Looking forward to a Sunday of rest today,
hope you are all gonna join me. Pimms on the patio at 5pm,
          YES?

32º when I headed out to work just after midday yesterday -

So glad to be working in an air conditioned room yesterday!

When I left work at 10 o'clock last night, the temperature had only dropped to 27º! Around midnight when we went to bed, it was so hot I ended up digging our air conditioner out of it cupboard and pressed it into service.

Well up until about 11am this morning it was overcast, misty and 16-17 degrees - what a relief :snork: and then it happened that great burning fireball in the sky finally burnt off the cloud and mist and the temperature has already risen to 25.9 degrees :phew::thud:, it's also feeling more humid and sticky than yesterday :eeew::heehee:
