One of my work friends was delivering to a local garden centre and noticed one of the workers throwing plants in the skip :hate-shocked:
He asked if he could have them and said yes there dead

Yeah, that's what the lady in the shop said ... she would have been quite happy not to sell it to me ... I said "Its a good job I've only bought one then" ... hopefully its not Glyphosate resistant!

He's a bit skinny at present, but I'll see about propagating some bits - hopefully by the Autumn :)

Went to morrisons today for the weekly shop and bought loads of citronella candles, tea light holders and hanging candle holders, reduced to 75p!

I'm sitting here, the sound of the water trickling, the smell of lemons, warm in the still quiet evening with a coffee and my thoughts......... Bliss!! :wub2:

That wonderful peaceful atmosphere has come over very well Al n. It is the warmest night of the year so far here and I almost feel I would rather sleep outside on a lilo than indoors tonight. There is a bat flying up and down the lawn and the moon is full of gold ,

I bought some gap fillers for my main front border at the weekend, but decided to dig up my Crocosmia half-border yesterday and all the stuff i bought went in there instead.

Here it is. There's a Verbena at each end just about in view.
