    Short, sharp thunderstorm at around 5am this morning, but it didn't clear the air any. Its extremely humid here this afternoon, and warm - all in, hellishly uncomfortable.

    Last night, the forecast said that we would get thunderstorms this afternoon/evening, but now its not even suggesting rain until lunchtime tomorrow.

    Bit warm now up to a muggy 27.2c humidtity 54% changing to rain :huh: sun still getting through just feeling very sticky...:eeew:

      Good afternoon here in the Garden of England its a lovely 33.7 centigrade(93 f ) 44 humidity,wind sped 2.2 mph :)

      Well they promised it but we still haven't got it........rain that is. A mixture of cloud and sun today, only 21C but humid.

      Just had a look at the lightning strike data on Isle of Wight Weather site, and there is loads of activity in France, but not a squeak over here. Rain today is devoid of cloud, with only one we tiddler appearing in Yorkshire for a bit.

      I nearly didn't water the garden last night on the promise of rain - so glad that I did now.
