Hottest day so far this year on my thermometer.
The mercury touched 35C at some point this afternoon at home, I was at work at the time.

I'm not allowed to wear flip flops,... and aircon, what is that???
But we do have a radio.

I've been using it a long time too, and never had an issue - handy wee site really.

Shame that the storms are too far west for us to get the benefit here - it is still hot with a capital F, and stickier than araldite.

Sat in my garden, enjoying a bottle of Cidre, listening to the rumblings of a ( hopefully) approaching storm. Exciting times :-)

Topped 35.6 here in the back garden today with ridiculous levels of humidity!!

And then the obvious and very welcome thing happened - *** Thunderstorms *** - Yeah :dancy:
Over the last hour a cluster of, at times, very violent storms have passed over, heading north, some immense forked lightening which you could hear!!!, it was of the likes I've never seen before, only on TV on something like Storm Chasers from America :) Some of the thunder was ear splittingly loud as it passed over head and the rain although only a short spell was intense enough to fill 3 empty rain butts in 5 minutes :snork: - I love storms

Apparently these were nothing compared to whats drifting up from France tomorrow, we're set for some BIG storms!!!, cool :dancy::dbgrtmb:

70F. Just had a lot of lightning with a continuous roll of thunder that lasted over 30 seconds. It started off with a very large clap that shook the house and rolled across the sky gradually fading into the distance.

                  No rain yet.

Going to shut down the computer in case of more to come.
