Not necessarily so. Childbirth can be a different experience for all women. Some have an easy time of it while others have a terrible time. The thing about childbirth pain is that because of the result it is easy to forget just how bad it is at the time and consider the pain worth the effort.

they seem to be quite an innovative couple so I wouldn't be surprised if the chosen name reflected that fact, bearing in mind that the baby is bound to have more than one name, so he could still have a more traditional name along his main name.

I seemed to have missed both the death/abdication of Queen Elizabeth II plus the Coronation of Charles II.

Damn, just heard I lost the sweepstake by 4oz

      I bet it'd be 8lb 2oz.

Recon it'll be Harold, not had one of those for a 1000 years have we?

No Scrungee you havn't missed anything,I just think that William and Katherine would be ideal for the task in hand, as new modern royals but the problem is because of the rules of succession we have to wait until the Queen passes away and then for Charles to be crowned and then his reign to start and end before Wills gets a chance.I would at least like to be still alive when all this making of history happens:biggrin:

Did anyone notice that Katherine wore a polka dot dress the same as Diana wore as she left the hospital with the new prince although her dress was blue and Diana's was green?:spinning:

Yes I noticed the dress similarity, not wanting to start another row BUT, I DO NOT want to see "that woman" on our throne.

Kandy - bit of a Diana fan then, eh? :heehee:

I'm not a massive fan of Kate. everyone saying she's a 'commoner' like 'the rest of us'... She's nothing like the rest of us

Suffice to say: Charles likes her :) and surely that is the main thing? :dunno:
Perhaps: but, William likes her :)

A nice choice of names, but naturally I think second should have been first.
