    Just like replacing the soil with Rockwool as they do in the Spanish greenhouses.

        Or like replacing the soil with cotton wool or tissue paper, as they do when making Mr Cress-head man.

            One food plant appart from spuds that often reappears from seed each year is Physalis, the seeds stay dormant for years.
            I've got three self sown Toms one is just about to flower.
            Most of the other self sown appearances are non edibles.

              Wouldn't object if that found its way into my garden as a "volunteer" :heehee:
