I got mine off Ebay. Nice and cheap and you can find out if you like it without spending much.

It's much better than having to drag a mop and bucket around and the floor is presumably left sterile enough to eat off should you be so inclined.

Vim, Ajax and Brillo are my favourite cleaning products. Not that I do a lot of cleaning but it can happen.

In the shower when it new or it has been cleaned, i would use some car wax on the tiles not were you stand and the water runs off better and then there is less cleaning to do, and the sinks

Anyone use Cillit Bang ? I know it can take the enamel off a cooker , but I need something with a bit of ooomph to clean the BBQ . Most other stuff doesn't make much of an impression.

Cillit Bang certainly took the paintwork off the pipes in my bathroom, don't know why it's not sold as an alternative to Nitromors.

As already mentioned, Stardrops has been a decent all rounder for years - cheap too. I have recently re-discovered Cif cream cleaner (although it was called Jif in those days), and it is still one of the best for making a kitchen sparkle.

One that we have fairly recently adopted though is the Method kitchen spray - lavender; its not cheap (over £3 a bottle now), but goes a lot further than the likes of Mr Muscle as it does such a good job. Smells nice too.

Probably, but once I deduct work, chauffeuring, garden, cooking, cleaning and a wee bit of GC time, there isn't much left of my day to be making potions

You have to find time for making potions. Its one of life's simple pleasures. My favourite potion has nothing to do with cleaning, unless you count cleaning your liver and blood the morning after a heavy booze up. I've got another one for clearing snot when your full of cold too.
