Could be FC or maybe general lack of air circulation ...mine seem to be suffering a bit too but i put that down to cramming far too many plants in my GH:doh:

    Hiya FC

Is it only apparent on the upper leaves? If so, my best guess is that it's probably sun scorch caused by (as you say) condensation.

Yeah, they look ok to me too:) Is this the first time you've grown them? I'll be interested to know what you think of the flavour, as I've always grown them in the greenhouse. Contrary to what some folks find, I find that outdoor toms aren't quite as flavoursome as those grown under glass:dunno:

Phosphorus deficiency, which is brought on (not by lack of P :) ) by stress. Either heat or moisture, most probably.

Wouldn't that affect the rest of the plant though?

I don't think you need to do anything other than to try to reduce / prevent the stress. I doubt it will make much difference to the plants / crops, but I'd be interested to hear what others think.

          I've just re-read this.....
I'm wondering if his greenhouse was kept closed during the day? Maybe this caused some stress? I must admit, my initial thought was a deficiency of some kind, but ruled it out on the basis that based on what I could see in the pic, it looked like only the top growth was affected. At this time of year, my greenhouse is permanently left open. I've never heard of stress causing a deficiency, interesting.

Greenhouse was left closed, even during the day, as I thought it was too cool for it to be open; I think I have quite severely underestimated how warm it gets in there even on dull days.

Its all open now anyway, and there will be a shift around in the next few days to hopefully allow air to move easier.

            Hiya F/C

Just out of interest, how many plants were affected, and how many plants do you have in there?

Well, I picked the first of my 'Gardeners Delight'. For comparison, I also picked a 'Sungold' and offered both to SWMBO. She described the 'Gardeners Delight' as being "average" compared to 'Sungold'.

Two plants out of the 20 or so in there. I am pretty sure its airflow.

My courgettes are also unhappy so a reshuffle is definitely in order.

            I
I haven't closed the door of the Green House since 5 July because the nights have been so warm, the two vents in the roof don't seem to have ever shut. The only downside is you have to be careful when thrusting a hand into a plant to take any dying leaves off due to the Bees:cry3:
