First and foremost I just wanted the winds to go away, it seems to have been windy here for weeks now; anything from a stiff breeze to gale force each and every day whether it's been sunny or raining. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that today is the beginning of calmer whether on the that front.....:thumb:

It has been persistently raining here too - which is stopping me play on the allotment:mad:

On a brighter note - the weather is definitely going to warm up here in the week

It rained for half an hour on Monday, which is the first rain for three months. I was talking to a local farmer yesterday who said 30% of his wheat crop has failed despite watering.

It's 12C at the moment with the forecast saying it will rise to 22C. Ten day forecast - no rain and low 20's.

A bit hazy here with a cool breeze at the moment; it's "supposed" to get much much warmer though..

Yesterday was quite pleasant here, especially out of the wind...(there's that word again w.i.n.d. :wallbang:)

Cloudy here up until about 3pm, then the sun put in an appearance for the rest of the day. Just popped outside and it's nearly as warm outside as in, makes a nice change at long last. :)
