It's raining here too - and proper rain that soaks the ground, not just a quick shower or storm rain - plants and trees will be loving it! :yess:
Although i don't like lots of rain but at the moment some is okay!

First heavy persistant rain for about six weeks with the usual strong winds. Can't complain we desperately need it (the rain, not the wind).:)

I was up at 5.30 this morning and it was glorious, clear blue skies, no wind, just lovely; then it clouded over and started raining at about 10 and hasn't stopped since, looks like it's set in for the day too, we do need it though; the good thing is the wind has remained light for now - fingers crossed.

Constant steady rain for most of the day, great for planting out except if it's through sheets of impervious polythene dpm, as the water runs towards you from every direction as soon as you kneel on it.

Back home drying off in front off the fire, thinking there's only another twelve 24x cell tray to prick out sweet william seedlings into (already done the first 12 - doing both singles & doubles), plus numerous other pricking out/seed sowing jobs to be done in the greenhouse.

Maybe after I've read a book whilst drinking a couple of glasses of home made wine in front of the fire .....

Mrs Scrungee has decided it's 'baking day' to warm things up a bit. We always try to get the most out of the oven whilst it's on.

 Oh dear, you all have been asking and even begging for the rain for the last three months and now that you've got it ... :rolleyespink:

It's 28c here at the moment and we would like some rain before our summer ... however, I'll just go get the hose out ...
