Hey all! I was wondering if it's safe to use Miracle Grow All Purpose Concentrated Liquid Plant Food on some of my veggies.
I'm using Tomorite on my Tomatoes and Aubergines. But on my lettuce is it better to use the All Purpose Liquid Plant Food, as there's no fruit it's just leaves?
And more importantly is it safe?

Don't see any reason why it wouldn't be safe - I think the lettuces work out what nutrients they want and leave the rest. I fed mine with chicken poo, and the lettuces tasted fine :)

I'm not sure about this one.

FC......I think Alan is referring to the liquid feed being on the leaves which wouldn't happen with chicken poo pellets. :)

But if he applies liquid feed to the soil and doesn't splash on the leaves, it should be ok?

No, wait, we're talking men and not "splashing" in other areas :heehee:

I think that would be difficult to avoid "M". On both counts!

Now, now ladies - no need to be casting nasturtiums :nonofinger:

I must admit, I was thinking that the feed would be solely applied to the soil, and didn't consider splashes on the leaves. Maybe the granules might be better?
