Okay so on the Aldi specials today are lots of plants. 9 of which are fruit plants. Tayberry, Loganberry, Autumn Raspberry, Summer Raspberry, Grape, Blueberry, Gojiberry, Red Gooseberry or Blackberry.

I've bought an Autumn Raspberry, Blueberry, Tayberry, Loganberry and Blackberry.

They're only small plants and I was wondering what's best to do with them?

Should I plant them out now or leave them in pots? Inside or outdoors?

    All advice much appreciated.

I planted mine when I bought them in big permanent pots, and left them out in winter, if you plant now they should be well established by then, or you could mulch over roots if you worried.

Equipped with that info, I might now travel with haste to Aldi. How much are they charging for them please?

Also, in an attempt to answer the question, all the brambles plus the goosegogs can just go in the garden wherever you want them (allow them plenty of space). They don't need the sunniest spot as long as they get some direct sun to help the fruit ripen.

Blueberry needs acid soil or ericaceous compost otherwise it will struggle along and will hardly produce fruit. They're also quite thirsty. Best to go in a large container. Probably the same light conditions as the others (mine are on the patio that only gets direct sun for the last few hours before sunset). I grew blueberries in containers only, because of their fussiness with soil requirements.

£1.99. Out today most of my plants are from Aldi!
I'm a deputy manager there so always pick out the good ones as soon as they come in lol. :p
There's lots of Clematis, Hibisis and some climbing plants too.

I bought a Gojiberry too, will keep that in a pot as well as the blueberry. I think the rest can go in the ground.

      Thanks for the replies!

Just dug out a large bed and planted my Tayberry, Loganberry, Autumn Raspberry and Blackberry :)
Next to where I'm going to put my raised veg bed. Can't wait till next year now! I wish I'd have moved house earlier, would've been harvesting all my veg.
