Here is Frosted Vintage Ruffles reblooming. It is more semi-evergreen here than dormant: Frosted Vintage Ruffles.JPG

What you don't see is the seed harvest going on. Yesterday I collected 11 pods that were cracking open. They are mostly applique throats, and 1 I hope will be a double with the throat. I use an egg carton that is made of pressed paper. That helps draw the excess moisture out. I need to put everything in bags before this evening when there should be some more ready:yes:

'Frosted Vintage Ruffles' is a beauty Wylie I always confuse that one with 'Beautiful Edgings', must be related.
Great idea with the egg carton :dbgrtmb: I'll remember that one, although quite a lot of my seed pods have shrivelled and fallen off still some left but not many, although there are lots of unknown crosses that are doing brilliantly :heehee:
              'Chili Spice' looking good today.
              014.JPG
And this one just keeps going and going 'Alien Encounter' I've been told this one throws out double patterned seedlings Wylie and its an evergreen ;) sounds interesting, think it has a pod not one I've crossed but maybe worth growing the seeds on just to see, thats if it doesn't shrivel and fall off :thud:

Beautiful Edgings is the pod parent for Frosted Vintage Ruffles  FVR was the second bonus plant I got (Eights Miles High was the first, and it has 2 nice, fat pods on it were I crossed it with one of my Amethyst Reflections sdlgs.;)) You could say it is the opposite of Alien Encounter [eye-no-edge / edge-no-eye]. I just put in the refrigerator today 10 seeds of Geneva Top Notch x Golden Tentacles, hoping to put an edge on it. I also put away 14 seeds of Squirrel Beater x Womanizer, playing with the eye pattern. (I'm up to 75 bags of seeds}.
I would cross Alien Encounter with something like Julie Newmar or Destined to see:stirpot:

75 bags Wylie!!!!! :hate-shocked:you could set up your own seed business the price some of those seeds go for on the lily auction :thud:.
Looking forward to seeing 'Before Botox' now what will you do with that one ?
'Julie Newmar' and 'Destined to See' have both finished blooming now, another missed opportunity till next year :gaah:.
There is a bit of rebloom here on 'Outrageous', 'Applique', 'Apple Swirl', 'Hemstitched' and 'Green Mystique' so far, so its not all over yet :hapydancsmil:

:wow: looks like your seasons far from over Wylie, lovely pictures!!!!!
Well I managed to identify all my divisions on the allotment but the other 'Star of Fantasy' cross didn't appear , then today I walked the long way to the allotment passed my old half allotment and there it was!!! must have missed it when I moved them all, obviously a dormant :thud:, just saw the remains of the final flower that must've opened yesterday its had 4 scapes by the looks of it and looks a lighter purple than the other one with a slightly patterned eye resembling 'Star of Fantasy' more this time, anyway I dug it up and moved it so hopefully see the flowers next year :wallbanging:.
