    They look smashing :)

No, that's just depressing. Pretty sure that's an Oriental? ... and thus needs Acid soil, so won't be any good here :( :( :(

You could nip round with some scissors and nip off the anthers ... I'll get my coat :)

Thank you Kristen, my Lilies are quite good this year despite or maybe because of being late. I forgot, you aren't able to grow things which like it very acid, sorry, and yup you are right Casablanca is an Oriental. Mind you, you can grow some amazing Lilies that I can't unless I get the lime sprinkled which never seems that satisfactory. Oh yes I have all the time in the world to go round nipping off anthers of about 160 Lilies!!!!:):)

Well, there's one or two Scotsmen living nearby, Kristen, but I think they're refugees from the cold and rain.:heehee:

I think the White Lily is a scale grown from "CASA BLANCA" which has always been reliable. As regards flowering seasons I don't thin any plants flowering season has been normal and on time.:dunno::coffee:

Not come across that before. I read that it is a bit more cold hardy than Coleus ... precious few suppliers by the looks of it though?

Love the pittosporum Strongy, I'm trying to decide whether to replace two huge specimens I lost during that cold winter, haven't found anything I like as much for evergreen foliage colour, one had a pinky edge to the leaf can't remember the name  and found it quite handy for putting in with flower arrangements.

Kristen, Perillas only seem to be grown from cuttings I got mine from Ball Colegrave years ago when I was at work but kept it going. I overwintered the small plants on the kitchen window sill as the greenhouse temperature (about 5c) was not enough, more like 10c+. Cuttings freely available!

Simbad, it could have been Pittosporum Garnetti.

Will people kindly refrain from putting up gorgeous photos of Agapanthus, every time I see these beauties I go a lot greener than my grass is! It's too cold here in the winter for them to survive, I tried keeping a pot of them in an unheated greenhouse over winter and still that wasn't good enough so it's something I have resigned myself to not growing mores the pity. Oh on 2nd thoughts just keep the lovely photos coming I can at least enjoy them be it 2nd hand!:)
