Can anyone tell me what this is - I have a feeling its a perennial something or other that I got from T&M last year, but can't remember what?

And what is this in my MIL's garden? I thought it was maybe a redcurrant or similar?

MIL said that it flowers yearly for a short time, pink flowers I think, but then nothing once they drop off, if that helps?

At least I was on the right path with it looking like a currant of some variety :)

Is the first one an Aconitum or Delphinium maybe?

I did buy a couple of Delphiniums, but I know for sure that I planted them on the other side of the garden - they subsequently snuffed it too. Second year of trying and never had any luck with them at all.

Thanks Sheal, that is the fella! I'll pass that on :)
