There are lots of water features and hard landscaping, a tree house and jungley huts, hidey-holes, niches, statues:

I've not done it justice with my few photos, there is so much tucked away here plus a lovely tea hut with great big slices of cake, polytunnels stuffed with even more tender exotics and a veg garden.

We went the last weekend they are open (end October) in 2011, the warmest Autumn on record, so we probably saw it at its best. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and inspiring what can be done with a generous sized town house garden :)

@JWK been meaning to ask you if you have T.rex? I have a number of "pups" if you want one, and some with more clearly divided leaves.

Good photos there Kristen, the Treehouse is now occupied so we couldn't go up there. I'd like to see the garden after Will has tucked all the tender stuff into the Polytunnel. On Saturday the Polytunnel looked full, very little spare room, so how they get in those big Brugs and red bananas plus dozens of other tenders in there I don't know!

I didn't protect my T.Rex over-winter and it's main stem died over-winter, it started to bud upin the spring then a late frost killed it. Since then it has sent up loads of new shoots from the roots so I'm OK thanks. Learnt a lesson though.

Hey @Kristen, I read on Will Giles' blog that he uses a big fan to circulate the air in his polytunnel over winter, to minimise fungal problems. I seem to recall you mentioned using one in your conservatory last winter, what sort of size do you use and is it on a timer?

I used the fan (heater element turned off) on my heater. Its probably not a good idea as it will wear the bearings more quickly than normal. I used a 15-minute-segment timer and ran it 15 on 30 off during the day and 15-15 at night (we have Economy-7).

Last year my conservatory was absolutely stuffed and I had no problem with fungus etc. and all plants much more happy. Previous year, less stuffed, and quite a lot of sooty mould and the like, and plants less happy.

                Recommended :)

I did look at floor standing fans. The greenhouse fan heater I have is beefy, compared to 20-quid Parasene ones, so you might need something with some umph to get the air properly into the corners.

                Need something "splashproof" though

But maybe one of those oscillating Parasene ones would do the trick
