    It's Nigella damascena and comes in shades of white, blue and pink depending on soil conditions,

      Its a nice flower, very easy to grow from seed but quite delicate. It kind of needs stronger companions around it to stop the weather from squashing it.

      Personally I'd take the roundup to it and zap the nettle and the dandelion that's with it, and then in spring sow more, along with maybe marigolds or some other self seeding stronger annual:)

      :heehee::heehee::heehee: Its a native wildflower here but I typically only see the blue ones, perhaps because we are red clay?
