It looks like we might escape the heatwave affecting other parts of Spain - today it's been 28ºc, tomorrow 33ºc forecast, but should cool down to 28º at the weekend. We've been having cool nights though, of between 10-12ºc.

Our low last night was 25c, 34,5c today and currently 30c so going to make a tuna salad for dinner. No reprive in sight ... :phew: ... thankfully we had a/c put in the bedrooms in the Autumn. :hapydancsmil:

Lovely day today, mostly sunny and warm, now about 24deg and sunny.

Am really fed up with the Met Office rubbish forecasts, this morning I checked with them and they forecast overcast all day, was sunny at the time and bore no relation to the rest of the day. Seems that very inaccurate forecasting on a day to day basis has become the norm with the Metoffice. I have switched to Accuweather which seems, well, more accurate - forecast today was for mostly sunny which was correct. Anybody else noticed this?

          Cheers
          GG

I only use Accuweather (and think t'other half has changed to them as well). Our high was only 32.2c today, currently 31c, just what was forecast.

Only thing I have noticed regarding forecasts from the Met office lately is that I'm getting higher temps than they are forecasting during the day.
I still prefer the Met office even though I avoid their new site, which I find is slow to load and far more complicated than it need be.

I think they have done it in order to try and keep up with countless other sites pumping out forecasts with all kinds of useless info.

The best bit of useless info is the "feels like" bit, what feels warm to me is probably cold to someone else, or vice versa, .... (Lolli), so its rubbish.
