Search Ricinus and see if that resembles this plant?

It's a ricinus or caster oil plant , not hardy but easy from seed and very fast growing I've grown some this year from seeds in the seed swap :-)

Yes simbad. I've planted 3 of them out this year I grew from seed. They look pretty impressive when grown and flowering. I'm thinking of a 'hot' border next year and these might play a part. I have put some potted crocosmia by the ricinus to see if they go together.
You say they are not hardy. Have you got any plans for them over winter?

              I stand corrected Ziggy.
              Many thanks for the link.
How interesting that you visited his grave and took flowers so very recently

It grows wild here and seeds itself all over the place ... even on the beaches! Beautiful shrub especially the ones with the dark leaves.

Oh dear Ziggy.. you did exactly the right thing to correct me!
Maybe that sounded a bit formal.
Russian was very wrong... very different from Bulgarian.
Never be afraid to correct me if I make a bad mistake such as that.
