Not at all, I thought he was Russian when I was younger, he was murdered on my 16th birthday so always felt a connection.

Angelina is trying to ask his family in Bulgaria if they would mind if we tended his grave.

It has a Rose bush planted on it, but i'm sure that needs pruning.

The Rose is the National Flower of Bulgaria.

I'll just grow fresh ones next year Gazania, I have a friend who lives in France who will happily send me more seed if I want some, had some from her the year before last and she did offer me some this year but I'd already got some from the seed swap, so fast growing its not worth trying to overwinter them , they do look good with crocosmia I had mine planted alongside Lucifer last year :dbgrtmb:

I will grow new next year too then. I was reading that the flowers need to be cut before they turn to seed because as we know the seeds are poisonous. Has anyone had their flowers turn to seed?

So it is only the seeds that are toxic?

A good question, and one I'd be very interested to know the answer to also.

      That's a good link surfer.

So folks, we have to be extra careful with our seeds! I think mine were from the Eden Project collection.

Didn't they have to recall a load of bracelets made from the seeds last year?
