    I normally type in the code
    Code:
    [URL=web address]Name of link[/URL]
    when inserting a named link, but this now causes problems when using the default editor screen, first it doesn't work and then when you try and edit it what was text turns into 'links', some complete paragraphs disappear and the urls get copied all over the place and the more you try and edit then out, the more that appear. Only by using the BB Code Editor could I delete all the stuff that had multiplied all over my post.

    The 'Link' button no longer gives the option of naming the link.

    @Zigs It's gone wrong because Xenforo is inserting too many/additional url tags. This is your post #3 in BBC editor view

    Code:
    [URL='http://[url]http//www.gardenerscorner.co.uk/forum/[/URL]']trying it out myself[/URL]

    This didn't use to happen before the Xenforo upgrade.

    EDIT: and whilst on the subject of Xenforo inserting too many tags, it's also happening with media tags when imbedding a youtube clip.

    Plus this is the post where I was having loads of problems so an Administrator can view the Post Edit History http://gardenerscorner.co.uk/forum/threads/wilkos-half-price-sale.42517/page-8#post-718766
