Some cool features vanished

the quoteme feature is back

It now allows multi page and thread better hence the change

 

Please Richard, I highlight, get the quoteme caption, right click and try and paste in a new thread but it isn't working for me ? Can you advise modus operandi please?

Having clicked the Quote Me, it looks initially like nothing has happened, but if you notice in the post reply box, just underneath it will say 'Get quotes'. I clicked in that and my quotes magically appeared.

Oh yes, same. Looks like a little bug to me, but, I don't think it would be much of an issue in reality, as I'd have thought it rare to quote from within a quote.

 

Why have I still got problems?

Edit: Still only able to post one sentence.

Edit again, otherwise it crashes. Still need to press post more than once, twice sometimes three times and it is only on this site.

 

Wicked! (I think I prefered the old instant-insert, but I'm sure I'll get used to the new two-step process. I've only just stopped running on auto-pilot and highlighting things before remembering that Quote Me was not there!!

Any news on the New Posts filter? That is my most hankered after feature as I am now only checking New Posts a couple of times a week because it takes me too long to wade through and find things that I can answer.

 

Highlight a piece of text
Click on "quote me" (which should appear in Speech Balloon next to the highlighted text)
Scroll down to the Reply Box
(previously the quoted text would have already been there)
Make sure cursor is in the right place
Click the link under the Reply Box saying "Get Quotes(1)"

 

OK, now seen that there was a page 2 ... sorry about that.

previously pretty sure I used to get a "There are more messages" type indicator when I posted on the non-final-page

 

Moyra still has problems, others still have problems, I still have problems

Are these problems we're all suffering from going to be resolved?

 

I don't know how to fix them scrunge, but i've pasted both yours and Moyra's posts into the office. Hopefully Rich or Nate can have a look.
