    Aloha everyone,

Lili, good luck today :blue thumb:

I sold 32lb of beans yesterday plus, plums, rhubarb, and marrows. It took 3.5 hours to pick, weigh and package :hate-shocked:. Anothe £40 for the charity :hapydancsmil:

Elbow is a lot better (Mrs Shiney is working on it :)) and I'll try a bit of digging and weeding. I think that should be possible but not sure about whether I can use the edging shears - but I'll have a go.

Lots of organising to do for some things I'm running so will be doing loads of emails and phone calls. :phew:

The forecast looks good so have a great day

    Aloha!

    Hi everyone,

Hi Moyra hope your day was not too stressful.

Good for you Shiney, that was a good sale for your produce.

Have been home a few minutes, the morning going reasonable well. They do not sedate you very much, and I found the procedure a bit painful, apparently my bowel was a bit more twisted due to previous surgery, so due to the pain, I had to have more sedation. The conclusion- my bowel was totally clear- so I now have to have a new procedure in the coming weeks, on this time down the top end.

Going to take a good rest this evening, suffice to say, my nether regions are a bit tender.

Oh Lili poor you! I feel for you.

The funeral went very well today, very emotional and very beautiful as some funerals can be.

    Night night all.

    Aloha everyone,

    Moyra, :grphg:

Loli, it's my right elbow that's the problem (lots better today) and I'm left handed, so playing the violin is no problem :blue thumb:. Actually, it is a problem  - I've just remembered that I can't play the violin :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

We're back to the sprinkler being put on the beans, courgettes etc. They noticeably slow down if the ground isn't fairly wet.

Although the temperature was only in the low to mid 70's yesterday it was quite humid. fter of an hour of diiging and weeding I felt as though I'd been standing in a shower!

We've just sent off another cheque for £500 to the charity.

I'm already getting people offering to entertain on the next Open Day. The Flamenco dancers are happy to perform again, as are the singers. We've now, also, had the offer of three guitarists and a belly dancing group. :blue thumb: I don't think the belly dancers would be dancing around the people seated at the tables. :heehee:

I've done an hour's work in the garden and we have guests for lunch so I had better start getting the food ready.

    Have a great day

    Aloha!

    Hi everyone,

Oh Moyra, hope you feel better soon.

What a surprise I had this morning, the hospital telephoned me this morning, and I am having the other test on Friday(tomorrow) at 4pm.:dbgrtmb:

    Talk about quick !

Luckily I do not have to have any more stomach cleanser. So much for all the bad press about the NHS. We cannot complain with the treatment that we have received.

Lovely and sunny here, managed to clear the garage today, made space to clean a lot of flower pots and other containers to put away for the autumn.

    Have a good afternoon. :doggieshmooze:

Hi all, sitting here nearly asleep.
The belly dancers sound great Shiney - I hope you are in training :snork: Now that would be worth coming to see. I don't know what Mrs Shiney would have to say though? ;)
Hope all goes well Moyra, I am awaiting a similar thing, I hate this getting old malarkey.
    Hope everyone else is well.

Jazz, it is Lili awaiting further examinations.

Feeling a bit better, I have updated all my drivers tonight and am hoping it may cure the problem I had on here. We shall see. So at this point it crashed but the majority of what I typed stayed.

    Aloha everyone,

I did an update of my drivers last night and hoped that it might cure my problem on here but it didn't so I gave up. but it was interested that what I had typed stayed in situ until I finished it and posted it this morning.

Shiney you did a tremendous job for the Charity very well done.

Lili, I hope your further investigation goes well.

Anyone know what has happened to WOO?

Have a good day all, and keep safe from the sun which will be hot again, well certainly down here. I have had enough now.
    God bless.
    Aloha!:wub2:

    Aloha everyone,

Well, we've had a hot and sunny week and it's still continuing.

Moyra, the forum software now does a save about every 10 seconds. So, in theory, even if you have to log out and log back in again you can recover what you typed. :blue thumb:

I've got the belly but will never have the dancing ability :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

    Have a great weekend

    Aloha!
