      I bought some a couple of weeks ago when half price and bought some because they looked like there'd be none left by the time they got to 50p/pkt.

      So now I'll go back and search for high value seeds, but still try and get stuff like the T&M free tomato seeds.

      Bagged 36 packets :) ... sticker price £88.34, average £2.45 ... saved £70.34 :wow:

      In previous years I have bought double-qty of packets that will keep a couple of years or more. This year I have decided to have another go at raising my own Cucumber plants as Garden Centre didn't have any suitable varieties last Spring - 8 seeds for a quid instead of £1.25 each :hate-shocked:

      Me = Happy Chappy :)

        Same thing happened to me, the gardencentregroup didn't do cucumber plug plants so I've just bought four packets of their F1 seeds - should last me a couple of years :)

                Called at our local Wyevale today (Stockton on-Tees) and bought a small selection of ‘different’ veg to try next season. All 50p pkt and most had RRP £2.99-£3.49.
                Still loads left if any Members are near Stockton, could be worth a visit.

                  Still a good selection when I got there this morning... So a spend of 7.50 got me 17 packets of seeds, worth more than 30.00.:hapydancsmil:

                    Just make sure their card reader isn't faulty and do not, I repeat *not* follow any instructions from the cashier to try it "just one last time" if it has already *failed* twice beforehand. Trust me, the savings on seed are no where near the time, inconvenience and cost of having your card locked! :whistle:

                    Just called at our local ALDI store and noticed a big selection of seeds all 19p a packet – all popular varieties of course, but great value for the basic veg. and bedding plants for next year. I’m not sure if all the ALDI shops have the same offer, but worth a look if you are going there anyway.
