I'm sure they will take fine. In my pre-GC days, I've split geraniums at all sorts of odd planting time and they have survived marvellously well. They are hardy little things (in my limited experience).

I'll look out for Geranium" Magnificum", it sounds a great little plant! :dbgrtmb:

I agree there is a smell about autumn, but I love it!

Can't wait for the trees to shed their leaves.

I like the parrot tulip Mr. Grinch. I haven't got any tulips in my garden, something to think about. :)

Me too, LOVE the parrot tulip, gorgeous!! Infact tulips are my favorite flower, its just a shame that they dont last throughout the summer.

I planted 100 tulips a couple years ago, and hardly any came up, and the damn squirrels were taking them!!

I do love Asters. This year they look amazing. No mildew at all. Reds, purples...lovely.

Planted the tulips in my tubs.

The lawn has had it for the year. Even after its been cut it looks patchy, worm casts everywhere, horrible. Pity i need to wait now until next May before it will be looking good again.

I've got one in the middle of our "Long Walk". I planted it before deciding that was where the hedge lined walk would be ... but it turned out to be slap bang in the middle, so I left it. But increasingly I think it is detracting from the view, rather than creating an interesting way-point so I'm going to move it next week.

I agree Kristan, it needs to be moved. I think Rayleigh would be a nice place for it :heehee:
Although my space is on a tiny scale compared to yours, the effect of a misplaced plant can still spoil an area.
