Good point. Probably needs the extra width for that shredder he's just ordered;)

Just been out doing a bit of nocturnal gardening. I noticed a fair bit of leaf damage on a couple of my greenhouse peppers today, so out I went after dark and sure enough there were two big juicy snails munching away.
Not any more they aren't. :paladin:

Spoken like a true Englishman. Now if you could just raise your voice a little then all those funny foreign chappies would be able to understand you.

Put up my winter greenhouse, put some plants in, to give me some spare trays.

Potted up some Foxglove plantlets, and put in some onion sets, and sorted out red onions ready for tomorrow.

Picked Runner beans and French beans for our dinner.

Cleaned my own pickling onions, resting in brine.Got the secret recipe:th scifD36: vinegar cooked up. That's the job ready for Friday.

Got a load of plastic to cut to make labels sitting on my table, so I can do that while I am watching TV.

                        I think I shall call it a day then.:phew:

Cut the lawn, edged, hoovered the lawn (ok, that one was a fib, but I was tempted!) brushed the dahlia petals up, deadheaded and weeded. Brushed the dahlia petals, the begonia heads and the cosmos petals off the drive. Nice and neat again for a few days.
