@Loli & moyra, it is demanding, but doing me good. I was only booked in with them for the 2 days, apart from football (spectating) and if the weather is kind some gardening my weekend is free. I have no work for Monday yet, but as my co-ordinator at the agency says, 'the weekend is not over yet' Oh and thanks for your concern.
    :ThankYou:

    Have a great evening all.

Be sure that I will, I know my limitations, but also know that if I am ever to get back to any where normality, I have to keep pushing, pushing, pushing....

      Aloha everyone,

Well, yesterday went much better than I thought it would. As the weather was nice (it only rained in the evening) the walk extended to most of the day and there wasn't time for the retail therapy :heehee:. The forecast is good for today so another nice walk will be organised by me ;) but, as it's market day, I don't think I'll be able to avoid a visit to the market.

Our friend is recovering from a broken ankle and she needs to exercise it so these walks are meant to do that. We're doing about five hours of walking a day and her ankle is becoming a lot more flexible and she's getting her confidence back. :blue thumb:

      Have a great day

      Aloha!

Neither, The Cobblers, is the nickname of Northampton Town Football Club, I shall be at the game against Exeter City this afternoon. But depending on the weather (which is changing as I type) a trip to the pub before hand might just be on the agenda :dbgrtmb:

          Aloha everyone,

Well to be honest this is what I call hibernating weather it is so dark and miserable more like a November day.

We don't see many birds of prey here apart from carrion crow, b great things they are.

Well have a good day all and Steve enjoy the match.

          Aloha!:wub2:

We had a beautifully sunny day today. A cold start but warm in the sun. So we were out walking most of the day. Then they decided there was still time to get to the market before it closed . It's now getting quite cold out there and there's a very bright moon.

I don't suppose the moon will stay visible for long as the rain is due to come and keep getting worse over the next 24 hours - just as I've got a lot of driving to do.

          Sleep well. :blue thumb:

          Good morning everyone...

I hope all is well with you all....:dbgrtmb:

It's a bright sunny start here with just a slight breeze...don't think the forecast winds are going to come this far east ,will have to wait an see....

Had an awful scare yesterday teatime.....Unbeknown to me Theo had opened the front door (he's a tinker for opening doors) and let his brother out ...i'd been outside pottering and just happened to go through into the hallway and saw the door wide open:yikes: Theo was sat on the drive but no sign of Archi so i just ran....there's a very busy road nearby and i looked to the right and saw a car parked on the verge with it's hazzard light s on and my heart sank...i was thinking the worst....i then looked to the left and there he was trotting along with a chap and his dog heading back home....:phew:...It was such a relief i can tell you....Archi doesn't get on with other dogs when he's with Theo but he seemed quite happy with this chaps dog....which brings me to the conclusion that when he gets tempermental it must be because he's protecting Theo....The front door is always locked but last night it wasn't:doh:.....lesson learnt....We looked back on the cameras and sure enough...There was Theo opening the door...they both went out and had a wrestle on the drive before Archi decided to go walkabout...Theo just watched him go.........he'd been gone over 10 minutes....i wonder where to?....he's probably told Theo all about it:biggrin:

Have a great day everyone, and take care if out and about the forecast looks nasty:dbgrtmb::SUNsmile:

            Morning all,

lovely bright start to the day, sun is shining nicely, no sign yet of the rain and winds predicted.

Glad it all turned out ok in the end @Loli .

Disappointing match result for the Cobblers, after dominating the game and taking an early
lead, we lost to a last minute winner :gaah:

            Have a great day everyone.

Gdam,I preferredThe Cobblers when they were at the County Ground instead of Sixfields when i used to go and watch them in the early seventies.Up the Cobblers....:snork:

              Aloha everyone,

We're back from a very good week in the Lakes. Excellent weather, sunny and mild most days but chilly at night.

We had about 20 minutes or so of rain on Monday during our walk and the only other daytime rain was Wednesday when the ladies decided to go shopping. The forecast was rain all day but there wasn't any whilst they were shopping (I sat in the car and read a book). We took a drive, for lunch, to a pub in a village that we hadn't been to before. The heavens opened just as we arrived but, fortunately, I'd parked just by the door.

It was a good lunch and we were the only customers they had! Next time we'll try them for an evening meal.

The forecast for today was pretty bad but we were lucky to keep ahead of the bad weather as we travelled south. We left at 9.30 expecting to have a slow drive when the rain storms caught up with us. They never caught us (it's peeing down now!) and I reckon a lot of drivers stayed off the roads because of the forecast. We did the 300 miles with very little traffic, stopped for a brief break, and got home just after 2 p.m. I had time to pick beans before the rain arrived. :blue thumb:

I'm just going to download my photos. Then I can scrap most of them :heehee:

              Keep dry

              Aloha!
