I went from Horner to Webbers Post then via Cloutsham to Exford and they was somewhere along along that last leg.

It looked like a teddy bear compared to the 2 massive great scary beasts I once met (never seen them before) standing astride a footpath near Glencoe. I'm sure I remember their horns as being 6 foot across.

Aah, not where I thought then. Used to stop at the shop in Exford to get tea bags on the way to work in the morning.

Exford has always seemed to me the wrong place to walk into a pub and express one's anti-hunting/anti-badger culling opinions. Places like Watchet are better for that, perhaps even Doniford Halt (AKA Doniford Holt - Google it), where Camp Badger was a week or so ago - some local threatened to hit me with a lump of wood nearby about 25 years ago when The Convoy were there.

We stopped for a pint there and ended up getting into an arguement with the barman. When he found out we were sea anglers he reckoned we should support the hunting lot or it would be us next.

Ended up with me saying that i've never had the urge to catch a Dogfish and then let a load of dogs rip it apart.

        Not been back since.

        Anyway....

        Pic I took today,

A walk by the coast on a grey Sunday afternoon, with a blustery breeze coming straight off the North Sea. Refreshing would be one way to describe it.

It was indeed Sea Kale Zigs, plenty of it along the shore round here.
Not far from the 'diver' there was also a half submerged 'hippo' but I couldn't get that in the photo as well.
