        Great shot, Loli.:thumbsup::snork: I haven't seen many Red Admirals this year so you're lucky to see one, never mind to have it stay still for enough time to get a pic!!!:heehee: I rescued a Speckled Wood Butterfly from my Kitchen this afternoon and released it back outside.......my good deed for the day.:snork:

          Lovely pictures everyone! :dbgrtmb:

          My one and only Sedum (Ice plant) is now in full bloom but there's not a butterfly or bee to be seen. I think the cooler conditions now have upset our buzzy and fluttery friends. :sad:

              Meanwhile the birds are certainly busy, half of the Sparrow mob, mainly youngsters.

                        Thanks Strongy:snork: They were taken yesterday down by the pond while the Sun was out for a few minutes. I didn't have the camera with me when I spotted it and had to go back for it and then coming back spent a few minutes trying to find it again.!! I just haven't seen a lot of them this year. I get flocks of Sparrows too but they never stay still long enough especially as I've stopped stocking the Bird Feeders while the Wasps keep homing in on them. There's also a Marsh Harrier that floats overhead making life exciting for them:hate-shocked::snork:

                          Looks like a Brown Tail Moth caterpillar, get rid of it and any others, they are skin and eye irritant.

                            More Spiders.:hate-shocked::heehee:

                            This little guy has taken up residence in my Arbour to see what trade he can drum up. He's probably only a quarter of an inch in width/length.

                            While this one is by my Kitchen Door and is a lot bigger and formidable. I've been struggling to get some better pics of her than my initial ones but I think they are only marginally better.....but I'll keep trying. I might have to wait though as tonight I noticed her web had been destroyed by the wind and rain but she'll be back.

                            It only takes a slight breeze to make the web vibrate and put the Spider out of focus........I think the Spider's got more patience than I have as she has to repair her web time and again in these windy conditions.:snork:
