Strawberries in Autumn

    My strawberry plants are still flowering and fruiting away.

    Could you please advise what I should do with them now the temperature is dropping and the nights are drawing in? :scratch:

    (No Greenhouse, only a blow away; no conservatory or porch; only a couple of south facing windowsills).

    Stand a Demi John in a bowl of ice cold water so it just covers the bottom, put goggles on and use a funnel to slowly pour boiling water so the inside is covered at the bottom.

    The bottom should crack off.

    Put your new glass bell cloche over the Strawberries :)

      Bet now I want some, the charity shops won't have any :wallbanging:

      So, what if I don't have any demi johns?
