It's good enough to go into the competition, straight into 7th slot, not bad :)

I will eventually get some pics! Every time I get my toms out on the table, the dogs try eating them!

They thought my one and only melon was a ball? :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

I now have 4 toms between 15 & 17" girth, all still growing slowly and no signs of ripening. Hope these warm evenings continue.

Phil's Fantastic, Omar's Lebanese and an unknown variety where the seeds came from a 3lb plus tomato. EDIT: A Delicious has now broken the 15" girth barrier!

@Vince - you have harvested your tomatoes, but what are the weights?

Heaviest one so far is a "Big Boy" weighing in at 471g. My monster "Big Zak" is still ripening, full smith period alert yesterday so I might pick it early and not risk blight as it's growing outside.

                            An update on Angelo.
Here he is split open - lovely aroma, nice and juicy and plenty of seed pockets
                            P1030666.JPG
Having removed his seeds, I chopped him up, gently not roughly :wub2: and braised him off in a base of olive oil and butter, salt, pepper and a sprinkling of mild chilli flakes from Gocek, Turkey. Smells divine..

Plenty of fat seeds all ready to prepare. Enough for all,

Very good Jenny, I'm tempted to give these a try if you would be so kind as to let me have some on the seed swap thread, can you tell me if Angelo has plenty of siblings?
