There are 11 siblings on the 2 plants on the patio:
    P1030681.JPG
And another 4 on the 2 plants up against the garage wall

Clearly, not many per plant - just big.

        Hi Freddy,
I'm no connoisseur on tom tastings but I liked it. Beefy, juicy, sweet/acidic and renders down quickly into a thick sauce. It would be good as a tom salsa too I think,

          Hiya Jenny.

I'm no connoisseur either. Sounds though that it could be a good all-rounder.

All seeds from siblings on the same plant should be genetically identical, the exceptions being potato leafed/currant varieties, possibly seeds from fruits resulting from damaged blooms and again possibly from megabloom toms where the distorted flower might have allowed pollen from another flower plant to enter.

P.S. A late evening measuring session revealed I now have 7 tomatoes of more than 15" girth.

Thanks for the info Jenny, they have done well considering they are outdoors. You must have a nice sheltered south facing wall there I guess?

Picked another one of my Beefmasters this evening, it came in at a healthy 380g, so it didn't beat my previous best, but I'm still looking forward to eating it. :)

Mrs Trunky came into the kitchen while I was weighing it and called me sad. Not satisfied with that, she has posted a picture of said tomato, with scales, on Facebook and attempted to heap public humiliation upon me.

Currently trying to think of a suitable retaliation, all suggestions gratefully received.

I cut a few tomatoes off this morning, the largest an Omar's Lebanese at 540g (which had stopped growing due to a broken stem) but I wont bother entering it as I have larger ones that are still green and growing.

Not in the comp, but whilst away on hols my Angelina's Bulgarian Beauty fell off, so here it is
There is a bigger one just turning red,

Not too keen on the taste raw, a bit too fleshy, but fried up was tasty
The seeds are at the moment fermenting ready to be sent to a request I got

Congratulations Scrungee Jack :yay:. I could tell by the colour of the flesh that it looked like one of Angelo's comrades. I noticed the skin wasn't too thick or chewy to eat too. Has yours split and is the top where it joins the stalk sound?
It will be interesting to see how much heavier your BIGGER one will weigh. It looks healthy,
                            well done.,

@Jenny namaste your congratulations are slightly premature - that was Jack's tomato which has currently taken the lead.
